European regulation on the protection of personal data, so-called GDPR

Pursuant to art. 13 of the EU Reg 2016/679

In the following privacy policy Studio Croce – Accountants & attorneys (hereinafter “Studio Croce”) intends to describe the working of this website, with specific regard to  the modalities whereby personal data pertaining to the users who visit it are gathered, registered and used, as well as the purposes of such processing: this notice has been issued for the website www.studio-croce.it, (hereinafter the “Site”).

This privacy policy, addressed to anyone who uses the web services of Studio Croce, intends to satisfy the requirements provided for by EU Regulation n. 679/2016 (the “Regulation”) and Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (the “Privacy Code”) and it also draws inspiration from Recommendation no. 2/2001, adopted on May 17, 2001 by the EU authorities for the personal data protection, that are all part of the Group created pursuant to art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC. This Recommendation identifies some basic requirements for the on-line collection of personal data; in particular, the nature of the information, as well as the timing and modalities of their provision, to be supplied by the holder of processing to the users whenever the latter visit some web pages, no matter what the reasons of their connection are.

The present privacy policy is provided only for the Site mentioned above in compliance with the law on the protection of personal data and in line with Studio Croce ‘s ethics. Users/visitors must read this Privacy Policy carefully before submitting any personal information.

TYPES OF PROCESSED DATA

Navigation data

The visit and consultation of the Site do not generally involve the collection and processing of personal data of the user. The processing of personal data of the user who visits and consults the Site is limited to so-called navigation data. The transmission of these data is necessary for the functioning of computer systems and of programs essentials for the operation of the Site but, by their nature and jointly to other data, could allow user identification. This category includes, for example, the IP addresses (Internet Protocol) or the domain names of the computer used to visit the Site, as well as other parameters relating to the operating system used by the user to connect to the Site. The collection of navigation data takes place automatically and may only be used to obtain statistical information on the use of the Site and to verify its correct functioning. If expressly required, such data may be used by the Public Authority to ascertain liability in case of computer crimes committed against the Site and / or third parties, according to the procedures in force at the competent Authorities. Except for this possibility, the navigation data described above are only temporarily maintained in compliance with the applicable regulations. The Site uses cookies and other technologies to read and / or store information about the user’s device. For a detailed description of these technologies, refer to the Cookies Policy. In any case, no data deriving from the web service will be communicated or disseminated. 

Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors

Studio Croce collects and processes personal data voluntarily provided by individual users if these, by connecting to the Site, send their personal data by e-mail to request information or to make requests. This involves the acquisition by Studio Croce of the mail address of the sender and/or other personal data contained in the e-mail that will be processed exclusively to respond to requests. Studio Croce collects and processes personal data, such as name and surname, address, e-mail, telephone number, Fiscal Code, etc. does not knowingly process personal data belonging to particular categories of data (so-called “sensitive” data) capable of revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical convictions, or union membership, does not deal with genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to the health or sexual life or sexual orientation of the person. In the event that an email is sent containing sensitive personal data and/or judicial data without an explicit written consent to the processing of such data, consent will be requested explicitly and in writing. 

Cookies

The Site do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are used c.d. persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users. For a detailed description of the cookies used by this Site, please refer to the Cookie Policy. 

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE DATA PROCESSING 

The personal data of users who use the e-mail service offered by the Site and the personal data contained in the text of the e-mails are processed by Studio Croce for the sole purpose of responding to users’ requests.

Apart from that specified for navigation data, users are free to provide their personal data. Failure to provide data may result in the impossibility of obtaining the requested information.

METHODS AND SECURITY OF DATA PROCESSING 

The processing is carried out using IT and/or manual tools, with organizational methods and with logic  related to the purpose indicated. Studio Croce takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of personal data.

The treatment will therefore be carried out in compliance with the provisions of art. 32 of the GDPR 2016/679 regarding security measures, also possibly by the employees of Studio Croce specifically appointed and instructed in compliance with the provisions of art. 29 GDPR 2016/679.

Studio Croce uses security technologies and procedures that guarantee the protection of user’s personal data. Studio Croce use constantly updated devices for the security of processing and storage of personal data.

PERSONAL DATA DISCLOSURE, DISSEMINATION AND COMMUNICATION

The data collected by Studio Croce are not disclosed to third parties, unless:

  • there is explicit consent of user to share data with third parties;
  • there is a need to share information with third parties in order to provide the requested service;
  • this is necessary to comply with requests from the Judicial or Public Security Authority.

No data deriving from the web service is disseminated.

Users’ data may be processed by the data processor, by partners and employees and / or collaborators of Studio Croce. The employees and / or collaborators work as persons in charge under the direct authority of the data processor.

DATA RETENTION MODE AND PERIOD

The data will be stored both in paper files and in electronic archives for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected and, in any case, in compliance with the current regulations in force.

USER’S RIGHTS

L’interessato al trattamento dei dati personali ha diritto di:

  • access the personal data provided to Studio Croce; 
  • rectify, limit, modify, supplement, delete, anonymous the personal data provided;
  • transfer the data to another data controller;
  • oppose the processing of personal data provided.

The interested party can exercise these rights by sending a communication via e-mail to the following e-mail address info@studio-croce.it. The interested party also has the right to file a complaint with the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (www.garanteprivacy.it)

REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The user may revoke consent to the processing of personal data by sending an e-mail to the following address info@studio-croce.it. In this case the personal data will be removed from the archives as soon as possible.

AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES OF PRIVACY POLICY

The Privacy Policy is subject to amendments and updates and the version currently in force is that published on the Site. Amendments of the Privacy Policy are communicated through publication on the Site. Please periodically check the Privacy Policy to be informed of any changes.
